Kelly joined us as the Day-of Coordinator for my wedding in September, 2022, and she was a pleasure to work with. She began taking over communications with vendors for us about a month before the wedding, finalizing their meal choices, coordinating their set-up and load-out times, and serving as their main point-of-contact. She oversaw the logistics of countless items on the actual wedding day, including setting up place cards, card boxes, and centerpieces exactly as we had requested. There were a lot of logistics involved in our wedding because the ceremony and reception occurred in different places, and Kelly handled them seamlessly. Kelly was extremely organized, proactive about reaching out, eager to meet at our convenience, and thought of potential issues and solutions that would not have occurred to us.
Kelly dealt with the problems that inevitably arise effectively and efficiently — generally, if something had initially gone wrong or not exactly according to plan, I didn’t even learn about until days later. She made our wedding day so much less stressful and made it possible for us and our families to relax and enjoy the day. I highly recommend working with Kelly on planning for any event. “Sarah”
This was not an easy venue to have a wedding. Add to this, the weather was not very good. Outside wedding at 50 degrees, is a challenge. Kelly made it work. Working in what I would call not ideal catering conditions, their team gave us a great wedding. They deserve 10 stars for flexibility. “William”

The food, the service, the clean up – perfection! Everyone told me how great the food was. It was perfect! They mixed the china so it really did look like Grandma’s house and the family style was perfect! The service could not have been better. The cocktail hour had to be relocated to a barn area and they took it in stride – the rain created mud and the entire staff helped to spread hay to keep people out of the mud. The staff was never intrusive – they were there when they were needed and anticipated every desire we had. The food was perfection and plenty of food for the guests – they replenished the sides frequently and I heard when one guest – who had been shuttling people to the reception site asked if there was another entree available because it was just so good and after all his work he was hungry again they provided it without even blinking. Everything was perfect – Kelly is GREAT – they had a lot of curveballs to set this up and they met each one with grace and saw it to a wonderful, glorious celebration.. Thank you! “Dolores”
Amazing…everything I had intuitively felt about Kelly from the moment they answered the phone and congratulated me on the recent engagement (the first vendor to do so!). Kelly was great!! I felt at ease and confident that the wedding would turn out great from the moment that I first contacted them. I really cannot say enough great things about her. She was friendly, easy to talk to, listened to everything I wanted and was very responsive. I like to be in control and it sometimes makes me nervous to hand over the reins to someone, but for our wedding, I was not worried or stressed AT ALL. I knew she understood my vision and would execute it perfectly – and she did!! I walked into the venue and was so excited that it turned out even better than I had imagined. She helped me through every step of the way. They went above and beyond typical catering services to make sure that our day went perfectly. The staff was great, and my guests loved their bartenders! Thanks to everyone at Chez Alice, especially Kelly, my wedding was filled with wonderful (and tasty) moments. Everyone is STILL talking about the food (and I am really missing the mashed potato bar)! Thanks to Kelly and her eye for organization, the reception venue was transformed into an ethereal, magical place where our guests were able to relax, eat, drink and be merry. As a bride, you never get to enjoy your food. But this wasn’t so with Chez Alice. I was being checked on constantly to make sure I ate enough and I was taking time to enjoy my wedding. One of the most important things to us when it came to planning our wedding was that our guests enjoy themselves – that they eat a great meal in a great atmosphere. It wasn’t just the food that was wonderful though! Kelly worked tirelessly with us on the menu to customize it to our personal preferences and budget. She took amazing care of us, was always available for anything we needed, went out of her way to help us, and found us amazing vendors for things like music, linens, and alcohol. We had a lot of DIY decorations and details for the event, and she took care of making the Elk’s Lodge look beautiful, going above and beyond to arrange everything we handed off to her to look absolutely beautiful. I found this event coordinator to be very easy to work with, especially since I was planning this from out of the state. In addition we needed to coordinate with the groom’s family as well as the bride and groom. Much of my part was handled by e-mail in a very timely manner. The wedding was beautiful. “Maria”
Picking a caterer was no small decision for us. First, we were planning everything from across the country, and would only be able to meet in person once before the date, and second, my husband is severely gluten intolerant, so we needed to be sure he would get through the big day without worrying about the food. After reading reviews, we contacted Chez Alice, and were extremely pleased to find we could create a menu from scratch, and note the need for gluten free options for the two of us, all while keeping a budget in mind. They helped us through the entire process, from picking out rentals to figuring out the final floorplan, and even contacted our other vendors (cupcake baker, DJ, etc) to make sure they did not have any questions or specific needs. And when the day finally came, we were blown away with the exceptional waitstaff, and how attentive they were to the needs of all the guests. Particularly for the two of us- bringing hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and food to the table, which was the only reason we had time to eat! “Kayleigh”

I was thoroughly pleased with my decision to hire Chez Alice for a post wedding brunch that I was hosting in Skillman, NJ. Kelly Hamdan handled all of the specifics for me and was even there to supervise the event. Chef Christopher did a wonderful job. His made-to-order omelets, hot off the griddle waffles, and assortment of fruits, muffins and pastries were delicious. Word hit the streets of Newtown that very night about how great it was. Everything was just the way I wanted it, the raw bar was a definite hit, and the butlered hors d’oeuvres never stopped. Our company planned a “Grand Opening Celebration” and when our original caterer canceled we were recommended to call Chez Alice. In the remaining six days Chez Alice saved our entire event. They made arrangements for rental, bar, flowers, ice sculptures and a piano player. Everything was exquisite, we can’t count the number of compliments we received about our white glove service and delicious menu, even six months after the fact we still receive praise.
